The minimum rental period is 7 days. Rental periods are usually from Saturday to Saturday but may start on any day subject to negotiation. They start from 16.00 (4.00 pm) on the first day of the rental period and end by 10.00 (10.00 am) on the morning following the last night of the rental period. We do not accept children under 12 years of age. Smoking is not permitted in the house. Events are not permitted at the house. The pool is normally open, weather permitting from the beginning of June until the end of September. The house is surrounded by 75 acres of land and the owner sometimes stays in an annex in the olive grove to carry out maintenance of the woods and olive trees. It has a separate access road and is not close to the main house or garden. It is not visible from the house. He would not be working near the house. He would not want to intrude in any way with your stay but he would be available by telephone if clients needed any assistance such as booking restaurants or finding guides. If you had any concerns at all, it would not be a problem and he would not stay there.
Included in rental price: Electricity and domestic hot water, high quality bed and bath linen (changed weekly), broadband internet usage, pool cleaning, and house work (4 hours on 6 days per week including Saturdays, and final cleaning). Separate pool towels are supplied. Household items such as laundry & dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, kitchen towel, cleaning items, etc., are also provided as well as starter supplies of kitchen items such as salt, pepper, vinegar, tea, coffee etc and a bottle of our own olive oil.
Not included in rental price: Underfloor central heating, underfloor central cooling, pool heating, more than €5 of telephone usage, tourist tax.
Payment Terms: A booking deposit of 30% of the total rental price must be paid at the time of booking. The balance of the rent is due by 8 weeks (56 days) before the first day of the rental period. A refundable security deposit of €1,200 is also required at the time of final payment. This will be returned within 2 weeks of the end of the holiday minus any deductions for damage, extra cleaning, etc, should this be necessary. We accept payment by euro bank transfer, or a sterling equivalent.
