Extra-Virgin Cold-Pressed Tuscan Olive Oil

When we bought the property it included an abandoned ancient olive grove of about 700 trees. These wonderful old olive trees are gradually being restored and we now harvest about a quarter of the olives. We are in the process of obtaining biological certification, but this takes time. Although not officially biological, the oil is produced according to the biological rules. Within a year we expect to have the accreditation.

The olives are harvested early, by hand in the traditional manner in October. This gives a higher quality olive oil but also a lower yield. The olives are taken to a local frantoio (Olive oil mill) where they are washed, crushed in a stone mill and the oil is then separated from the pulp using cold extraction only. It is unfiltered and put into large stainless steel containers. From there it is put into dark glass 0.5 Ltr bottles.

The oil has the classic taste of extra virgin olive oil with the slight peppery aftertaste of a typical Tuscan olive oil.

If you rent the house, you will receive a complimentary bottle of our oil but we are also happy to ship oil to North America or Europe using our excellent and reliable shippers who will safely pack the bottles and ensure they arrive within a few days in good condition.

The 0.5Ltr bottles cost €15 plus transport costs.
